Vision

In 2001, when we started to talk about starting a new church in St Asaph the overriding vision was to see God working in the towns of the Vale of Clwyd and since then nothing has changed in this.

Our prayer is to see

  • God being worshipped in our services and in our lives
  • Christians being built up in their faith by all that the church does.
  • People coming to faith through the witness of people in our fellowship.

The above 3 represent perhaps our biggest hopes but the following list could be added to give some feel for some of the specifics of how we might see the above happen

  • To see young people using and enjoying the church building and to help them to understand what being a Christian means.
  • To work with the other churches of St Asaph in any way possible to further the work of Christian witness in the town.
  • To provide opportunities for Christians of all backgrounds to pray, worship and talk together.
  • To see the church building used for the benefit of the wider community of St Asaph.
  • To provide spiritual and other support for Christians working in other places such as those living away at college or working overseas.
  • To help Christians understand their faith better by various means such as the sermons on Sundays and mid week bible studies.

There is much more which could be added to this list but hopefully this gives readers a feel for the type of church we are.
