Sunday School

On Sunday mornings it is often too demanding for the younger children to stay in for the whole of the morning service and so for them Sunday School is provided. It lasts from about half way through the service till the end and is held on the church premises behind the dividing screen. It provides a good opportunity for children to learn about the Christian faith in a fun environment. There will often be a teacher and a helper too, the teachers are all experienced members of the congregation who will all have been CRB checked. The teaching materials used are provided by Kingsway a national Christian publisher.

In the past the young people have also been involved in taking Sunday morning services, especially at Christmas time. These have proved successful and it is hoped to try to do it more often in the future.
