Urban Saints

On Friday evenings at the church building we hold our main youth meetings of the week which is part of a national organisation called Urban Saints (formerly it was known as Crusaders). The main leader is Glyn Watson who is the church youth worker, but he is ably assisted by many others

There are 2 age groups at present. the Juniors are Year 6 school age and below (in other words Junior School age) and they meet from 5.30 p.m. till 6.30 p.m. The Seniors are Years 7 to 9 in High School and meet from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m.. The activities which the groups do vary but they will always involve some organised games, some informal time for things like table tennis and pool, refreshments, some short Christian input in the form of a DVD or a video often and some time to just chat and chill out.

Urban Saints run national summer camps which are always very popular and many of the youngsters and leaders go on them. There they have great fun whilst meeting new friends and learning more about the Christian faith.
